RealAmerica is celebrating nearly 30 years of success in providing affordable housing in thriving communities!

RealAmerica is now a 7X winner of the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority (IHCDA) Lieutenant Governor’s Excellence in Affordable Housing Award, with two wins in 2022 for our Haven Homes and Southpointe Village communities:

Located in Plainfield, IN, Haven Homes provides stable, and affordable housing where families can achieve independence and stability.

Our Southpointe Village development in Fishers, IN, provides beautiful, affordable housing for individuals with disabilities looking for comprehensive care and luxury level amenities.

In addition to these exciting achievements, RealAmerica is pleased to announce two exciting new developments that align perfectly with our goal to create safe, affordable homes in supportive communities.

515 East

Located in Elkhart, IN, 515 East is a mixed-use development with 60 apartment units and approximately 1,937 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. 48 of these units will be made affordable through the federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. 515 East will have a special focus on providing mental health services to address the effects of pandemic living and the rising rate of depression among teens and adults of all ages.

Marvetta & Anthony Grimes Family Center

The Marvetta & Anthony Grimes Family Center is a 36-unit recovery community that will provide single parents a safe place to reside with their children as they recover from addiction. The Center will offer support services including an on-site daycare and medical clinic, as well as on-site caseworkers to connect residents with services. The primary goal for this Center is to make it possible for participating families to remain in-tact and get healthy and whole together.
