Excellence in Affordable Housing Award

2020 Indiana Housing Conference — August 14, 2020

RealAmerica’s founder and president, Ronda Shrewsbury helps lead the annual Indiana Housing Conference, also serving as the president of the Indiana Housing Council. This year, the conference looked a little different due to public health guidelines, but more than 300 people still participated. 

Senator Todd Young spoke about the latest legislative developments related to affordable housing, and how unemployment and the pandemic have impacted the government’s response. 

Industry leaders discussed changes happening due to the pandemic and economic outlook, including local and regional efforts. 

The conference ended with a speech by Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch, who presented the Excellence in Affordable Housing Award to RealAmerica for our H38 property in Lafayette.
