RealAmerica received bonds and tax credits to update three 15-year-old apartment communities near Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our challenge: to renovate the units with residents in place, during a pandemic.
We renovated five units per week throughout the project, without losing any residents and without any COVID outbreaks among residents or workers. Each unit received new appliances, fixtures, kitchens, cabinets, countertops, bathrooms, and HVAC systems.
In spite of additional safety protocols, our team completed the project on time with great success. Residents appreciate their new apartments and we’re proud of achieving measurable results without sacrificing safety.
